The Buffalo Bills will travel to NRG Stadium to take on the Houston Texans.Tre’Davious White will take on one of the NFL’s best wide receivers in DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins is Houston’s No. 1 wide receiver and the go-to option for quarterback Deshaun Watson. The Buffalo Bills (2-3) recorded their second win of the season last week against the Tennessee Titans in a defensive struggle that came down to the final possession.

Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen has struggled the last two weeks after a breakout game on the road in Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings. Allen threw for 200 yards and a touchdown and added two more rushing touchdowns to lead the Bills to the 27-6 upset win.

Allen was helped last week by Buffalo’s running game that got going behind LeSean McCoy, who totaled 100-plus yards in total offense for the first time all season. He ran for 85 yards and made a key play on the final drive to help set up the game-winning field goal.

With a win Sunday against the Houston Texans (2-3) the Bills would improve to .500 and firmly place themselves in the thick of the playoff race. If they lose Sunday the hole may be too deep to climb out of for a team led by a rookie quarterback still in the beginning stages of the development process.

”There’s no question that we have still a lot of work to do,” Titans coach Mike Mularkey said. ”There’s no question about that in a lot of areas. But if we can find a way at whatever time in the game to make a play to win the game, that’s all that matters.”

Derrick Henry ran for a 1-yard TD. Safety Kevin Byard also intercepted two passes , giving the second-year pro five picks over his past two games and tying him for the most interceptions in consecutive games since NFL’s 1970 merger. He’s the first with that many since DeAngelo Hall in 2010 for Washington.

The Titans (5-3) also sacked Joe Flacco twice and scored 13 points off Byard’s first interception and a shanked punt.

The Ravens (4-5) have lost three of four going into their bye despite outgaining Tennessee 341-257.

”We’ve been beat up all year, so this will be a good chance to hopefully get healthy and get some guys back,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. ”We were hoping to win this game to get some momentum going into the bye and come out healthy. We’ve got to get on a roll.”

Flacco tried to rally the Ravens with two TD passes in the final 8:56, the last a 1-yard pass to Mike Wallace with 46 seconds left pulling Baltimore within 23-20.

But Justin Tucker’s onside kick attempt didn’t travel 10 yards, skittering almost sideways off the tee before being recovered by Titans linebacker Daren Bates.

Eric Weddle started the rally by picking off Mariota’s overthrown pass for a Baltimore defense that came in with an NFL-best 12 interceptions. Flacco hit Javorius Allen with a 3-yard TD pass with 8:56 left to pull the Ravens within 16-13.

The Titans answered with a 75-yard drive Mariota capped with an 11-yard TD pass to Eric Decker with 3:58 left for the winning TD with the veteran wide receiver breaking loose after seeing other options bottled up by the Ravens.

”It was kind of a vet-savvy move,” Mariota said.

The Titans had their best opening quarter and led 10-3. Mariota threw his first TD pass inside an opponent’s 20 of the season on a 16-yarder to Rishard Matthews , and it also was the Titans’ first TD in the first quarter since the season opener. The Titans finished with touchdowns on all three drives inside the Ravens 20.

Titans running back DeMarco Murray finally got off the injury report this week, but he hurt a knee in the second quarter. He returned and finished with 19 yards on nine carries.

Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley hurt a shoulder at 8:17 of the third quarter, and he was replaced by left guard James Hurst. Luke Bowanko took over at left guard. Stanley returned in the fourth quarter, but he threw up with 51 seconds left as he walked to the line of scrimmage. He went to the sideline, and Harbaugh did not have an update after the game.

The Titans finally used cornerback Adoree Jackson on offense for the first time this season on their opening drive. He went up the middle for a 20-yard gain on a handoff. But Matthew Judon sacked Mariota on third down, forcing the Titans to settle for a field goal.

The Ravens answered on the next drive with a fake punt, and punter Sam Koch hit Chris Moore for 16 yards on fourth-and-7. Titans cornerback Brice McCain was flagged for a facemask with Moore’s helmet coming off to reach the Tennessee 13. But the Ravens settled for a field goal.

”We need to be better,” Flacco said. ”It’s as simple as that.”

Ravens: Bye week.

Titans: Host the Cincinnati Bengals.

The fact that Jaguars were inconsistent in defense does not mean they can not cover Sunday.

Cowboy Quarterback Duck Prescott has an average of 172 yards per game and has just thrown five touches and four rebounds. It does not run much, as it only accumulates 121 yards in the riots.

After the 100-yard race in the race against the Seahawks and Lions, Texans put the cowboys running again Ezekiel Elliott in the blocking mode, making it 54 yards on the ground on the 20 carries at a rate of 2.7.

Chargers vs Browns

The Broncos are coming off a 34-16 loss to the New York Jets as Denver could not overcome a three-touchdown performance from Jets quarterback Sam Darnold and Isaiah Crowell’s single-game franchise record 219 rushing yards. Despite leading 7-0 after the first quarter, a commanding 21-point second quarter by the Jets helped New York take a sizeable advantage they never relinquished.

The Broncos did receive a boost from Case Keenum throwing for a career-high 377 yards on 35 of 51 pass attempt with two touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to win on Sunday afternoon. Denver will need to tighten their defense against the Rams as the 512 yards they allowed to the Jets was the 14th most they’ve allowed in a single game in team history.

For the Rams, they’re entering Week 6 with their quarterback, Jared Goff, on an active streak of four 300-plus yard passing games in a row. However, Sunday’s 33-31 win over the Seahawks was not his best effort as he threw two interceptions in addition to his 321 passing yards and one touchdown.

Not only do the Rams wield the all-time edge on the Broncos with an 8-5 record, but they have also won the past three meetings.
Rams-Broncos head-to-head statistics

As mentioned, Jared Goff has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league this year. Goff leads the NFL with 1,727 passing yards. The Broncos figure to have a tough matchup against Goff as his past four games against AFC teams, he is 4-0 with 1,243 pass yards, 12 touchdowns and just one interception.
Broncos quarterback Case Keenum has only one career game against the Rams, which came last November when he was part of the Minnesota Vikings. Keenum passed for 280 yards with one touchdown and 20 rush yards.
Rams running back Todd Gurley will look to replicate his success from last week when he posted 113 scrimmage yards with three rushing touchdowns. Since 2015, he has nine games with two-or-more rushing touchdowns, the most in the NFL.

Broncos’ rookie running back Royce Freeman is aiming for his third consecutive home game with a rushing touchdown. He is one of four NFL rookies (Saquon Barkley, Nyheim Hines and Calvin Ridley) to post 250-plus scrimmage yards and three touchdowns this season.
Rams-Broncos odds

The Rams are 5.5 point favorites on the road. The over-under is set at 52.5.

Panthers vs Redskins

Panthers vs Redskins Live: Through The Years Panthers officially rule tight end Greg Olsen out for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants: Olsen said Thursday it’s not out of the question to be.

Sunday Night Football NFL

Chargers vs Browns

Here’s all the information you need on this weekend’s showdown between the Washington Redskins and Carolina Panthers.

Despite a drubbing in New Orleans against the Saints on Monday night, the Washington Redskins remain in sole possession of first place in the NFC East with a 2-2 record. However, the Philadelphia Eagles’ Thursday night win against the New York Giants, putting them at 3-3, means that the Redskins will have to beat the Carolina Panthers at home on Sunday in order to stay in first.

The Panthers, meanwhile, sit in second in the NFC South with a 3-1 record, defeating the Giants at home in their most recent game.

Here’s everything you need to know about Sunday’s game.

Washington Redskins vs. Indianapolis Colts

Date: Oct. 14, 2018 – 1 p.m.
Location: FedEx Field, Landover, Md.

Tickets: Thousands of tickets are reportedly still available for this game, something the Redskins — who for years have insisted that a waiting list still existed — have acknowledged. On Ticketmaster, you can get tickets as low as $70 in the upper-level sections as of Friday morning.

Transportation: Parking is available at FedEx Field, but you’ll need to get parking permits which are designed to a specific color and letter lot (although there is a cash lot located off of Brightseat Road in the Gray Lot). You can purchase a single-game parking permit here.

You might be better off using Metro. Take the Blue or Silver lines to the Morgan Boulevard Metro Station, and then follow the sidewalk about a mile to FedEx Field. It’s a bit of a walk, but you don’t have to pay for parking or deal with the traffic. However, keep in mind that for late games, Metro may close before the game is over.

Weather: The National Weather Service projects that Sunday afternoon will be mostly sunny with a high near 62, and some light breezes, so it will be a perfect fall football day.

Preview: Here’s’s breakdown of the matchup:

In four career starts against Washington, Cam Newton has yet to lose. He’s also played at an incredibly high level. Newton is averaging over 250 passing yards per game and has thrown nine touchdown passes to go with zero interceptions. His passer rating is 115.4. Needless to say, the Panthers would love Newton to continue his dominant run against the Redskins

Seahawks vs Raiders

Seahawks vs Raiders : The Raiders will finish up the 2018 preseason in Seattle as they take on the Seahawks. While the third game of the preseason is usually the “dress rehearsal” game, the fourth preseason matchup is typically the opposite. You will see mostly backups and players who will not be on the Raiders’ roster in a few days.

Seahawks vs Raiders Live

Chargers vs Browns

Finally, at long last we’ve come to the end of the Oakland Raiders preseason slate.

The Silver and Black will conclude the preseason Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks, which means the regular season is right around the corner. September 10th the Raiders will host the Los Angeles Rams at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum for a showdown on Monday Night Football, and it can’t get here soon enough.

Before we can officially move past the preseason, the Raiders will try to leave CenturyLink Field with a win.

Here’s how you can watch or listen to the game:

Just one more game left in the preseason before the Raiders set sail for the regular season. Their final game is in Seattle against the Seahawks who they usually face in the preseason due to their close proximity.

Jon Gruden has said most veterans won’t be appearing in this game, which I assume means veteran starters. I wouldn’t really expect to see many starters at all in this one. This last game is to showcase the skills of some bubble players and those who are not going to make the team, but would like to put something on tape for other prospective teams.

The Seahawks take on the Raiders at 7 p.m. PT this Thursday at CenturyLink Field, where Seattle will face Oakland to close out the 13th consecutive preseason. Here’s where you can watch, listen to and follow the action as it unfolds:

Q13 FOX (channel 13 in Seattle), the official broadcast partner of the Seattle Seahawks, features Curt Menefee (play-by-play) and Brock Huard (analyst) on the call with Aaron Levine and Dave Wyman on the pre and postgame shows.
Radio: 710 ESPN Seattle, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM

For the flagship station, Steve Raible and Jordan Babineaux will call the action with Jen Mueller and John Clayton patrolling the sidelines.

Colts vs Jets

Jets Vs Colts Week 6 Preview: Can The Jets Win 2 In A Row For The First Time In Over A Year?

Chargers vs Browns

I’m incredibly excited for this game. I get excited for every game because I’m moderately pathetic but that’s neither here nor there. From an unbiased, rational perspective, this Week 6 matchup against Indy is a perfect litmus test for where this young and talented New York Jets squad stands after 5 games in the 2018 NFL regular season.

First of all, the Jets haven’t won 2 games in a row in over a year since they beat the Browns on October 8th of 2017 for their 3rd win in a row. Obviously, that team was very different last year as they trotted out the ageless wonder in Josh McCown, much to the dismay of fans across the globe. No one really cared what they did because the expectations in both the present and future were very, very different.

For me, I just want to see consistency on Sunday. That’s the type of growth this team needs to display for people to start taking them a little more seriously. I’m not even necessarily talking about Sam Darnold. Yes, consistency and growth from him would be amazing, but I’m more worried about the rest of the guys on the roster doing the things they need to do well for the 2nd game in a row.

Frankly, I do think this is a great matchup for the Jets on both sides of the ball, and I think it’s a very winnable game. I also thought that about the Browns game though, so it doesn’t really count for shit. Whatever though. Here’s what the Jets need to do to get to .500 on the season and start to build momentum as they head into the meat of their schedule
This Is A Favorable Matchup For The New York Jets

Here are the facts. The Colts are giving up 27.6 points per game so far this year. They’re actually ranked 10th in rush defense, but that’s more a product of teams being able to throw so easily, as they’re currently ranked 28th in the NFL giving up almost 283 yards per game through the air.

Beyond that, they’re banged up. It’s looking like they’re getting their OTs back on the line, but they’re also expected to be without at least 2 starters inside. Furthermore, Andrew Luck still looks like he’s throwing a shot-put as opposed to a pigskin, and many expect T.Y. Hilton to be out on Sunday.

If you strictly look at what the Jets did well last week, the blueprint translates perfectly into another successful game against the Colts. It all comes down to consistency. If the Jets can get Isaiah Crowell and Bilal Powell rumbling again, enabling Sam Darnold to continue to be aggressive down the field, the offense should be able to move the ball.

Defensively, if the Jets can once again put pressure on Andrew Luck and make him move his feet, they can undoubtedly force him into some mistakes or at the very least get him off the field. The Colts have not been able to run the ball effectively much at all, and the Jets rush defense has been the most consistent thing we’ve got going so far this year, so I’m not too concerned with that at all.

I swear to God and Jesus Christ this isn’t just blind optimism; there’s a reason the Jets are favored in Vegas yet again, and it’s because on paper things actually look pretty good for the Green and White on Sunday.

Isaiah Crowell Is 3rd In The NFL In Rushing And He Needs To Be That Guy Again On Sunday

I’ve talked about this a lot and I’m gonna talk about it some more. I apologized last week after Isaiah Crowell lit the Broncos the FUCK up. He looked really good. I’ll go on record again saying I think his skillset is perfect for this offense, but none of that matters if the running game disappears again in Week 6.

Obviously, it starts with the guys up front. I thought Kelvin Beachum and James Carpenter had a great game last week run blocking and Brian Winters has been our best lineman all season. In a rushing attack that likes to focus on attacking the edges with stretch runs and zone blocking schemes, it’s so important for these guys to be able to be athletic and pass D-lineman off double-teams to get up to the linebackers, while the TEs seal the edge.

Chris Herndon is a guy who had a few key blocks on the edge to free up Crowell for some big runs, so I’ll definitely be watching him as well as someone like Neal Sterling who’s expected to be suit up and play again after missing time with a concussion.

If they lose Sunday the hole may be too deep to climb out of for a team led by a rookie quarterback still in the beginning stages of the development process.

Bills coach Sean McDermott has been impressed with Allen’s leadership ability and his competitiveness through the first few weeks of the season. Buffalo signed veteran backup Derek Anderson this week to help guide Allen and to bring some experience to the quarterback room.

McDermott expects Anderson to pay immediate dividends for Allen.

“Josh is a constant learner,” McDermott said. “He loves the growth mindset and embraces that. He has a whole heck of a lot of respect for people who have been around the game. I know with my own career, and I’m sure in your careers, if you’re able to sit down next to someone that has been there and done that before, there’s a lot of value in that, in particular when they’ve had success like Derek has.”

The Bills face a formidable offense that will test their defensive unit that is playing some of its best football of 2018. Buffalo forced three turnovers last week against the Titans and needs to find similar results for the Bills to compete on the road against once of the top offenses in the league.

McDermott said this week that as good as the defense has played in recent weeks the unit is young and still growing.

“We’ve got some young players that are two games more experienced than they were two games ago,” he said. “You’re seeing some of that on this past Sunday, for example, compared to the last two Sundays, with Taron (Johnson) and Tremaine (Edmunds) and then Tre’Davious (White), still a second year player, Matt Milano making big time contributions. We have to continue to work hard and I know they’ll do that. These guys are a group of hard workers that take a lot of pride in their work and want continue to improve, no different than Josh in terms of embracing the growth mindset and approaching the game with a lot of energy.”

The general bets of this game currently have 67 percent of Minnesota at home. However, this information is subject to change, so be sure to visit the public betting page on the NFL to see updated game numbers.

Cardinals get the first victory

Arizona finally got one in the winning column last week when Cardinals won a 28-18 win in San Francisco. Arizona now has 1-4 mark of the season with a 3-2 mark against the difference and a 4-1 mark with a bottom mark. The cards covered the gap in three consecutive games this week.

Cardinals were one of the worst crimes in the NFL, averaging only 13 points and 221.8 yards per game. The running game accumulates only 64.6 yards per game at the moment. David Johnson is the main runner with 242 yards and four touch the ground on 74 holds. Rocky killer QB Josh Rosen at 29 out of 59 pass for 386 yards with two downhill and one intercept. In defense, Arizona allows 22.4 points and 412.4 yards per game. Includes more than 140 yards per game. They still accumulated 14 bags and created nine shifts. Chandler Jones has four wheels to lead the team and has forced him to flounder.

The Vikings come with the NFC Championship

Minnesota Viking Championship NFC rallied last year in the fifth week by winning a 23-21 win at Philadelphia to advance to 2-2-1 this season. Vikings are 3-2 against the spread of the season and 3-2 against the drop.

Minnesota was surprisingly mediocre in defense this year, allowing 26.2 points and 402.2 yards per game. Viking defense pass is really fighting, allowing 302.8 yards per game. Still able to get the arcade race, accumulating 14 this year. Daniel Hunter leads the way by five. On offense, Minnesota accumulates 22.6 points and 403.4 yards per game. His attack was minimal, averaging only 65.8 yards per game. Dalvin Cook has been hit most of the year and is also questionable for this game. Kirk Cousins played well, throwing 1,688 yards and 11 shots down with just two shots. Adam Tillen has surpassed 100 yards in all five matches and has 47 receptions for 589 yards this year.

NFL Betting Trends

Cardinals have a 5-2 against spread in their last seven conference games, but only 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games.

The Vikings have 1-4 ATS only in their last five games after winning, but 11-5 ATS in the last 16 against a losing team.

While last week was a great victory for Minnesota, the Vikings did not show much consistency this year. They were very modest at home, they beat the 49, and lost their bills. Arizona have been covered in three consecutive games and have improved a little each week. Cardinals still have a fleeting march that could cause problems in the Minnesota offensive. I’m looking for this game to be closer to what many expect.
